jetBlue is coming to Charleston SC soon!

It won’t be long before JETBLUE starts flying to Charleston offering daily, nonstop service beginning February 28, 2013.

jetblue1 JetBlue will serve Charleston International Airport (CHS) with twice daily nonstop service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and a daily flight from Boston’s Logan (BOS) starting on Thursday, February 28, 2013.

CHS to JFK
Departs 11 a.m., Arrives 12:41 p.m.
Departs 5:55 p.m., Arrives 7:43 p.m.

CHS to BOS
Departs 12:45 p.m., Arrives 2:50 p.m.

JFK to CHS
Departs 8:10 a.m., Arrives 10:23 a.m.
Departs 2:59 p.m., Arrives 5:18 p.m.

BOS to CHS
Departs 9:35 a.m., Arrives 12:06 p.m.

- Flights operate daily beginning Feb. 28 , 2013 –
- All times local –

JetBlue’s flights from Charleston will be serviced by 100-seat Embraer E190 jets, which have all leather seating and no middle seat configuration. With JetBlue, the first-checked bag is free and passengers are welcome to enjoy an unlimited assortment of name brand snacks and drinks as well as more than 140 channels of complimentary live television and radio on personal seatback screens. JetBlue offers more legroom than any other carrier in coach.

Hanahan… a small area not far from downtown Charleston.

Located north and east of North Charleston this tiny town offers affordable housing in both single dwellings and apartment living. Unblemished by much commercial industry, Hanahan remains a sleepy little town (only about 10 square miles) that is run by small town City Council and Mayoral type government.

Not quite the country and not exactly the city, Hanahan is located near enough to North Charleston to provide ample opportunity for employment yet maintain its small town ambiance.

West Ashley, just over the bridge from historic Charleston

Just north of Johns and James Islands, and west of Charleston, West Ashley is a bustling peninsula that is the crossroads of the Charleston area. James Island, home to popular Folly Beach, maintains its history with well-preserved live oak trees and Fort Pemberton, an important part of the Civil War era, still standing on the island today.

James Island boasts the popular 643 acre James Island County Park, a municipal golf course, and public boat landing. It is an independently governed town and as such is separate from the tax rules of Charleston. Although alive with amenities, this sleepy island hosts only a handful of restaurants and a few antique shops while still offering the convenience of downtown being only a few minutes away.
